Ferrari Club of America

Desert Region

Welcome

Our region comprises all of Arizona and Southern Nevada including Las Vegas.  The Las Vegas area operates as a subchapter within the desert region.  We are a non-profit club with all income going to subsidize club activities and any surpluses donated to charities.

We have over 200 members with a very broad variety of Ferraris and Maseratis but you do not have to own one to be a member – you just have to have a passion for them.

In fact many of our members also own other makes from countries like Germany and the USA, however of course none are as wonderful as those from Italy.

We hold regular events such as drives, shows, dinners, technical demos, and visits to interesting places.  We team up with other clubs for track days and car shows.  We try to participate as a group in many events and travel together in a convoy.

Our events are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy yourself and your car all while meeting new people and creating new friendships.

We typically have two or more events every month. These include complimentary tickets and private club guided tours of most of the Collector Car Auctions in January; track days; one-day and weekend drives; previews of new models and tech sessions; private viewings of F1 races; dinners; wine tastings; brunches; and more.

These events are designed to allow you to see how your car really performs while having fun with like-minded members. Ask any member and they’ll tell you how much fun they have and how many new friends they have made.

The wonderful gang at Penske Ferrari hosts several tech sessions every year.  Past sessions included technical overviews of the La Ferrari, 488, and a Ferrari/McLaren comparison.  Penske also hosts new vehicle launches.  Examples of recent launches include the F12tdf,  458 Speciale, and the 488 Spyder.

In addition to being among the very first to learn about new models you will learn lots about how to get the most out of your Ferrari and how best to maintain it to keep it in optimum condition.

Drives

We do a variety of drives that are sometimes shorter morning, afternoon or all-day drives that usually include a breakfast, lunch or dinner and occasionally an overnight weekend drive. Weekend drives typically include a special feature such as an off-road Hummer Tour with a champagne brunch in the wild.

These are not races, well they are to some, but really a chance to go on a scenic drive with friends.
